Air Berlin has just released details of a new route out of Stansted Airport. The new 4 times a week service – starting December 1st – will fly to Salzberg in Austria. Operating daily from Thursday to Sunday inclusive the flight schedule is ideally suited to people looking for a weekend city break in the historic city.
The flights are going up against the 4 time a week schedule on offer by RyanAir which also fly from Stanted Airport. Whether this will lead to a price war on this route only time will tell.
Currently the cheapest one way flight to Salzberg from Stanted on the AirBerlin website is 39 Euros this compares with 28 Euros currently on offer from RyanAir
