Getting a taxi at Heathrow Airport.

Taxi to Heathrow Airport:
The fare quoted includes all road tolls and if required help with your baggage to the check out desk. Our drivers are happy to park up in the car park and help you with your luggage, this is a popular service with many of our elderly passengers and also with families who have children to control as well as luggage trollies.
Please note that while we are happy to help you with luggage to the checking desk we are unable to wait in the queue with you.
FlightCabs are happy – and have in the past – to act as a suitable adult for children flying alone. This often happens when students at private schools need to fly home from Heathrow Airport at the end of term. In this situation you must fax us a copy of signed authorisation allowing us to sign the airline forms as an authorised guardian. Again we are happy to escort the child to check-in desk and sign the consents but we are unable to wait with the child until they enter the secure area.
Taxi from Heathrow Airport:
The fare includes all road tolls and parking/waiting for 1 hour at Heathrow Airport.
Our drivers will meet you in the terminal, look out for the driver waiting along the rail in the Arrival hall holding a sign with your name on it. To avoid confusion please note the following:
- Terminal 4: when you walk into the arrivals hall the rail will split into two directions. You should follow the path that leads to the left and the driver will be waiting at the end.
- Terminal 5: when you walk into the arrivals hall look immediately forward to the coffee shops. Take the exit to the left and your driver will be waiting at the meeting point in the Orange Zone.
Our drivers aim to be at the arrivals hall in Heathrow approximately 20 minutes after you flight lands. The standard taxi fare quoted includes 45 minutes wait and car parking from this time. If you feel you will be longer than this – for example if you think you may be held up at customs – then you can ask us to meet you later, please let us know at time of booking.
You will be given the mobile telephone number of your driver once your airport transfer booking has been confirmed. It is your responsibility to contact the driver if you are going to be held up.
After 1 hour or 30 minutes after the flight has been declared clear, whichever is later, if you have not made contact with the driver then they will;
- contact airport information to put out a call for you.
- contact the following departments to see if you are there; lost luggage, health centre, immigration. Be aware that there are no guarantees that the medial centre or immigration centre will tell us if you are being held.
If contact can not be made with you then the driver may leave and no refund will be paid. Please ensure if you are being held to contact the driver or FlightCabs directly.
